The National Audit Office (NAO) participated in the Audit Rules Working Group meeting of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting reviewed the final drafts and updates of the manuals on performance audit, information technology audit, privatization, governance and public projects audit, to be submitted to the Undersecretaries of the GCC SAIs.
In addition, the working group discussed updates and amendments to the Financial Audit Manual (General Manual) and upon their approval, the final draft of the manual would be submitted to the Undersecretaries.
The team also discussed the draft audit manual on disaster and crisis management.
The meeting was attended by Ms. May Ali Alkhulaif, Audit Manager, Regularity Audit, and Yusuf Khalifa Aljawder, Audit Supervisor, Administrative Audit.
