Vision 2030

The Economic Vision 2030 for Bahrain

Vision 2030

Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 is based on three principles:

Sustainability:

Bahrain's economic vision adopts government financing policy to achieve the principle of sustainability on which future aspirations are based. Bahrain will use its resources in the future to develop human capital, education and training, especially in the fields of applied sciences, and encourage leadership and innovation to ensure sustainability for a thriving private sector. In a world where new technologies and increased competition for production shorten product lifespans, innovation contributes to the continued success of the economy. However, economic growth must not be achieved at the expense of the environment and the safety of citizens in the long term, which requires making efforts to protect the environment and preserve cultural heritage.

Competitiveness:

Bahrain's vision is based on achieving high competitiveness in the global economy, and achieving increased productivity more naturally in a competitive climate that drives economic development, doubles profits, and raises wage levels. The high rate of productivity makes goods and services more competitive in the global market and generates income. Larger, which dictates that companies provide the best services, and constantly search for the best ways to produce. In order to increase productivity, there is a need for citizens who possess the appropriate skills and capabilities for each job they work in. Therefore, efforts must be made to maintain skilled workers, in addition to developing and retraining the Bahraini workforce.

Justice:

To stimulate and enhance justice, the public and private sectors are committed to transparency and providing an atmosphere of free and fair competition in all transactions, whether related to employment, a public auction for the sale of land, or the award of a tender. The government's role is to provide a legal and regulatory framework that ensures the protection of consumers and fair treatment of business owners, including foreign investors. The Kingdom applies justice in society by treating everyone equally under the law, applying international human rights standards, giving equal opportunity to obtain education and health care, and providing support to those in need by providing appropriate job training and providing social security.

In line with Bahrain Vision 2030 and in an effort to achieve exceptional performance and excellence in implementation; Ministry of Finance and National Economy has launched many initiatives and projects to achieve the desired ambitions and goals, and implement Bahrain’s economic vision, which is a road map for the economic and financial situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
