Manama – Administrative Financial Audit Office:
The National Audit Office (NAO) held a training program on "Financial Audit" in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies for Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) employees working at MoFA’s headquarters and its missions abroad as part of strengthening the capabilities of employees of the entities subject to the NAO's audit within the framework of partnership and cooperation.
The two-day virtual program aimed to familiarize participants with the different audit types, the implementation stages of financial audits, such as risk assessment and audit task planning during which internal audit systems are examined and analytical and detailed tests are conducted. Participants also learnt about conducting financial audit and its outcome.
The program reviewed a range of examples of audit tests and observations.
The training program was opened by Ms. Aysha Adam, Director of Human and Financial Resources at the NAO, and prepared and presented by two employees from the NAO Regularity Audit Directorate, Ms. Ameera Madan, Audit Manager and Mr. Mohammed Aldallal, Audit Supervisor.
