His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on the occasion of International Women's Day, praising her prominent role in supporting women and contributing to their advancement and excellence in various fields.
H.E. praised the achievements of Bahraini women and their contributions to the nation and society under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as a result of His Majesty's perceptive vision and directives, and the continuous efforts by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower and advance Bahraini women and enhance their role in building the future and prosperity of the country.
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed stressed the NAO's keenness to promote the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance, to integrate women's needs into development according to the national plan, and to provide a work environment that guaranteed their rights as working women.
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed praised the sense of responsibility of the NAO’s female employees and their commitment to perform their duties at work and carry out their tasks together with their male work colleagues which contributed to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
