Manama – National Audit Office:

His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Auditor-General of the National Audit Office, affirmed that the remarks made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom, in his address to the media, constitute a well-established national reference that leaves no room for interpretation in dealing with current developments, and embodies His Majesty’s commitment to safeguarding national security, protecting the nation’s achievements, and upholding citizens’ rights.

His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed noted that the contents of His Majesty’s speech reflected a clear vision and a steadfast approach to confronting challenges, thereby strengthening the resilience of the home front and affirming that the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain are top priorities, in light of the developments the region is witnessing, noting that these directives represent a comprehensive framework for all measures aimed at protecting the nation from any attacks or threats.

H.E. explained that the remarks made by His Majesty the King were part of a comprehensive national framework that reordered priorities and held everyone accountable for their responsibilities, as His Majesty’s assertion that the homeland is a trust entrusted to its citizens represents a clear call to instill the values of loyalty and belonging, strengthen social cohesion, and preserve national unity.

H.E. stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the support and guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister is moving forward with steadfastness and determination to safeguard its national achievements and advance its development journey, relying on the awareness and cohesion of its people, and continuing to consolidate the pillars of security and stability while proceeding on the path of construction and progress.

He emphasized that the directives of His Majesty the King regarding the firm handling of anyone who dares to harm the homeland, betray it, or undermine its principles, reflect an approach based on upholding national responsibility in a way that preserves the dignity of citizenship and protects it from any transgression.

He explained that this phase calls for greater solidarity and cohesion among all segments of society, and for rallying around the nation’s banner under the leadership of His Majesty the King to continue building a prosperous future for Bahrain.
