Manama – The National Audit Office:

The National Audit Office (NAO) participated in the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Professional Standards Committee (PSC) Steering Committee (SC) meeting as the representative for the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), and as the Head of the T-Initiative (Terminology) Team of the Committee's Strategic Development Plan 2023-2028.

Mr. Ahmed Buti, Regularity Audit Director, and Ms Abrar Alsaegh, Audit Manager at the Regularity Audit Department, attended the meeting, which took place in Beijing, People's Republic of China, via video conference.

Mr. Buti and Ms Alsaegh presented the latest developments in the work of the T-Initiative led by the NAO in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It is worth mentioning that since 2022, the National Audit Office (NAO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain has beenholding the position of Vice Chairman of the Forum for INTOSAI Professional Pronouncements (FIPP). Also, the NAO has been serving as Vice Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee of ARABOSAI.

Since 2005, the NAO has also been a member of INTOSAI’s PSC Steering Committee as a representative of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI).
