At the webinar, participants learnt about the process of developing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), the latest international amendments to these standards, how to present financial statements, the classification components of current assets and liabilities, international standards for financial instruments and how to classify and measure them.

In addition, 3 NAO employees attended a webinar on “The Updated INTOSAI Framework of Professional Pronouncements (IFPP)”, organized by the General Secretariat of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) in cooperation with the Audit Bureau of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The course discussed topics such as the importance of the updated INTOSAI Framework of Professional Pronouncements (IFPP), its scope of work, and its application. It included an overview of the International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions Implementation Guide and the changes and developments regarding the classification, review and issuance of standards resulting from the adoption of the updated framework.
