Manama – The National Audit Office:
His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office this morning Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, where they discussed enhancing the level of cooperation and coordination.
H.E. stressed that the NAO would continue to coordinate with all ministries and government agencies subject to its audit to ensure its recommendations are applied according to approved international standards so as to improve the level of performance, quality and efficiency of the services provided.
He pointed to the positive approach adopted by the NAO in preparing reports, and confirmed that he was looking forward to further coordination with all parties to consolidate the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa praised the performance of the Institute of Public Administration and its role in developing national leaders in the public and private sectors.
For her part, H.E. Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa confirmed her aspiration of opening new possibilities of cooperation and coordination with the National Audit Office and develop joint work in the field of training.
