Auditor General met with the Minister of Education.
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), said that the NAO would continue to coordinate with all ministries and government agencies subject to its audit and assist them in implementing its recommendations to ensure the preservation of public funds and a increase in the level of performance, quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens.
During his meeting with HE the Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, HE the Auditor General stressed the importance of the positive approach followed by the NAO in preparing reports and carrying out tasks and its reflection on the speed of response by the entities subject to the NAO’s audit.
He highlighted the cooperation of the Ministry of Education with the NAO's cadres and supporting them in the implementation of their tasks. He confirmed that he was looking forward to further coordination to consolidate the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
For his part, HE the Minister of Education praised the level of professionalism of the NAO's staff, expressing his ministry's readiness for more cooperation and coordination to reach the desired objectives in the interest of the nation.
