Manama – National Audit Office:
Amina Saleh Aldoseri, Senior Auditor at the Regularity Audit Department, participated as a lecturer among other lecturers from other Supreme Audit Institutions in the introductory webinar on the Professional Qualification Program for Senior Auditors of Supreme Audit Institutions (PESA) in its fifth batch (2026-2027), organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI).
The seminar was held via video conference and aimed to establish a base of highly qualified and professional auditors within the specifications of the INTOSAI competency framework in the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
Participants studied 7 research papers: 2 comprehensive papers on the value and benefits of SAIs and SAI professional conduct, and 5 functional papers related to the audit area chosen by the SAI auditor.
The learning outcomes included demonstrating deep knowledge and skills to conduct high-quality audits in one of the three audit areas (Compliance Audit, Financial Audit and Performance Audit).
