Manama – The National Audit Office:
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office today (Wednesday) H.E. Mr. Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, Managing Partner of KPMG Fakhro, and Mr. Jaafar Hassan Al Qubaiti, Partner, Head of Audit at KPMG Fakhro.
During the meeting, H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed stressed the need to develop and build the technical and institutional capabilities of any entity working in auditing based on best practices.
H.E. touched on the importance of training auditors and enhancing their experience as well as the benefits from technological development, especially with the introduction of artificial intelligence which provided an opportunity for accurate analysis within a short timeframe and less effort.
For their part, H.E. Jamal Fakhro and Mr. Jaafar Al Qubaiti praised the capabilities of the National Audit Office (NAO) and the professionalism and skills of its employees, which are reflected in the reports it issues.
