30 employees of the NAO participated in a virtual training course on auditing the implementation of sustainable development goals (SDGs), organized by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC).
The webinar was held over a 3-day period and included topics such as understanding sustainable development and its challenges on a local and global level, the principles of sustainable development addressed by Bahrain Vision 2030 and the national progress achieved so far.
Participants learnt about the NAO’s role and its contribution to achieving sustainable development and auditing the implementation of SDGs, in addition to integrating SDGs into performance, compliance and financial auditing.
