In line with the National Audit Office’s (NAO) continuous efforts to further develop the capacity of its employees to carry out assigned tasks competently and efficiently in accordance with international best practices.
HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor-General of the NAO, and his accompanying delegation visited the Republic of Singapore to discuss cooperation between the NAO and the Auditor-General’s Office (AGO) of Singapore as well as their membership in the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), and the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).
His Excellency and his delegation met with Singapore's Auditor-General, Mrs. Goh Soon Poh, and a number of officials from the AGO. They exchanged knowledge on audit methodologies and procedures applied to different audits in order to gain higher quality results. In addition they discussed AGO’s experience in managing training programs, providing knowledge and skills to audit officers through on-the-job training and evaluating training programs and their benefits to further enhance training capacity and knowledge.
