HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor-General of the National Audit Office (NAO), stressed the importance of cybersecurity and keeping pace with global developments in data security and protection.
HE pointed out that the NAO attaches great importance to data security and its strategy to establish checks and controls for data protection will add to the confidentiality, security and accuracy of information systems.
This came during a meeting with Mr. Jacques Michel, BNP Paribas Chief Executive Officer of Corporate and Institutional Banking, and Mr. Jamal Tartir, General Manager, Conventional Retail Bank, BNP Paribas Bahrain Branch. During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in global banking and the global economy.
