His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office, praised the achievements of Bahraini women and their contributions to the nation and society under the reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa which are the results of His Majesty’s vision and directives and the continuous efforts by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower and advance Bahraini women and enhance their role in building the future and prosperity of the nation.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed extended his best wishes and congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on International Women’s Day, praising her outstanding role in supporting women to achieve distinction and prominence at all levels and in all sectors.
He stressed the keenness of the NAO to promote the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance, to integrate women's needs into development according to the national plan, and to provide a work environment that guarantees their rights as working women.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed commended the commitment of the NAO’s female employees to perform their work duties which contributed to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
