National Audit Office (NAO) President Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa extended sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on being selected to be at the forefront of the list published by the Contemporary and Historical Women Leadership Initiative that was announced by the delegation of the European Union to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Gabon, on the occasion of UNESCO’s launch of the International Day of Women in Multilateralism.
The NAO Chief said that said that the global honour conferred on HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa recognizes her pioneering role across development sectors and contributions to promoting Bahraini women’s status, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
He commended the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to further women’s empowerment and bolster their role in building the future of the nation.
