"Judicial Seizure in Financial Crimes" program organized by the Public Prosecution in cooperation with the concerned authorities concludes.

His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), stressed the importance of partnership, cooperation and concerted efforts between the authorities and the entities concerned with combating financial crimes to preserve public funds and the capabilities of the country.

In his speech at the closing ceremony of the training program "Judicial Seizure in Financial Crimes: Between Law and Application", organized by the Public Prosecution in cooperation with the concerned authorities, H.E. stressed the importance of continuing to build the technical and institutional capacities of the concerned authorities through continuous training based on best practices and methodologies used in this regard.

H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed considered the training of cadres as the most important thing and pointed at the benefit of new technological developments, especially in artificial intelligence which provided an opportunity to enhance capabilities in analysis, research and investigation.

He pointed out that the NAO paid great attention to providing ongoing training for its employees to strengthen their technical skills and supporting and motivating them to obtain professional certificates to raise their performance levels, which was reflected in the quality of their audit reports and the results of their audit work.

H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed congratulated the trainees, lecturers and organizers on the successful completion of the program and wished them continued success in developing their capabilities.

The program, which was held from June 2023 to March 2024, discussed many topics such as crimes related to misconduct in public office, money laundering, tax evasion, as well as the requirements for preparing reports, seizure procedures, problems encountered at work, and the coordination between national agencies in combating these crimes.
