Manama – The National Audit Office:
H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Deputy Auditor General for Administrative Audit at the National Audit Office (NAO) received His Excellency Mr. Ali Sharif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Internal Auditors Association (BIAA), and His Excellency Eng. Abdulqader Obaid Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Internal Auditors Association in the United Arab Emirates (UAE IAA).
They discussed regional and international developments in the auditing profession, and the importance of the professional standards issued by the International Organizations.
At the meeting, the guests learned about the establishment of the National Audit Office, its competencies and tasks, the entities subject to its audit, the professional organizations to which it is affiliated, the audit types conducted by the NAO, and the methods and stages of preparing different types of NAO audit reports.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Fayeq Ali Dhaif, Deputy Auditor General for Financial and Performance Audit at the NAO and other NAO officials.
