The National Audit Office (NAO) organized two virtual sessions, conducted by Maryam Alkaabi and Mohamed Alaradi, audit supervisors at the Administrative Audit directorate, to share personal experiences in obtaining professional qualifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).
The two sessions, attended by 35 auditors, discussed the first steps such as registration, study sources and self-study, and the most important examination aspects such as the type of questions and methods of solving them.
In addition, participants received advice on how to develop a study plan, the number of study hours required per day, review methods, the skills required to pass the exam and how to overcome the challenges they might face.
