His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman and Royal Endurance Team Captain, on winning first place for the second time in a row in the 160 km World Championship held in Montpasier, Republic of France, for the second consecutive time.
His Excellency said that this great achievement reflects the distinguished levels that Bahraini sport has reached, which was a testament to the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continued backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed stressed that winning this important international sporting forum reinforces H.H. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa's record of achievements in various international sports fields, and consolidates the high status that Bahraini sports have reached thanks to his tireless and continuous efforts in promoting and upgrading the sports and youth movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain and raising its flag high in various tournaments.
