Training Programs

Manama – National Audit Office:

The National Audit Office (NAO) organized joint training programs with the State Audit Institution of the Sultanate of Oman on "Governance of Audit Work" and "Tax Policies and Their Impact".

The training, which was held in Muscat, aimed to develop the skills of the employees of the State Audit Institution of the Sultanate of Oman in understanding the governance framework in regulatory authorities and raise the efficiency of their audit work in terms of transparency, accountability and effectiveness. Furthermore, the training focussed on developing the capabilities of auditors in evaluating the impact of the development programs of the tax authorities by providing the necessary tools and knowledge to measure the effectiveness of these programs and the extent to which they achieve the required financial and administrative objectives.

Ms. Somaia Almeer, Audit Manager at the Administrative Audit Department, and Ms. Zainab Jaafar, Audit Manager at the Performance Audit Department, gave lectures in the training programs.
