The National Audit Office (NAO) held a training course on audit work for employees from the Ministry of Interior working in the field of auditing and accounting.
The course included a definition of audit types (financial, compliance, performance, and information systems audit) and the laws and regulations related to those types and audit tasks. It also touched upon internal auditing and explained the NAO’s procedures and requirements when auditing entities covered by its audit mandate.
The course was presented by Muath Abdulghaffar, Audit Manager at the Regulatory Audit Directorate, Maryam Taleb, Audit Manager at the Administrative Audit Directorate, and Zainab Jaafar, Audit Supervisor at the Performance Audit Directorate.
