Manama – The National Audit Office:
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), discussed with H.E. Mr. Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Audit Authority (UAEAA), bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in common interest areas in accounting and auditing.
During his visit to the UAEAA, H.E. the Auditor General and H.E. the President of the UAEAA reviewed opportunities for cooperation in training, information technology and new areas within audit systems using new technology and technical programs. They discussed the importance of coordination regarding cooperation with international organizations especially in the audit field.
Furthermore, a high-level meeting in the presence of officials from both Supreme Audit Institutions was held which included a presentation by the UAE agency.
Members of the NAO delegation attended an operational meeting held at the UAE Accountability Authority with officials and technicians of the Authority.
On his visit, H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was accompanied by Mr. Salah Saleh Alyafeai, Director Administrative Audit, Mr. Maytham Saeed Hasan, Director Information Systems Audit, and Mr. Mohamed Fuad Sater, Manager of the Auditor General’s Office.
