The National Audit Office (NAO) organized an awareness session for its employees about breast cancer and the importance of periodic examinations in coordination with the Royal Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Mariam Juneidi, Consultant for Breast and Reconstructive Surgery, gave a detailed description of this type of cancer. She stressed the importance of periodic examinations for early detection in order to avoid the cancer spreading and receive early treatment to increase the chance of recovery.
The session was held via video conference and was part of a global breast cancer awareness campaign.
