Manama – National Audit Office:
The National Audit Office (NAO) organized an awareness session for its female employees on breast cancer and the importance of periodic check-ups in cooperation with Al Kindi Hospital and Bahrain National Insurance Company.
Dr. Amal Al-Rayes, Consultant General Surgeon and Breast Oncology Surgeon, gave detailed information about this type of cancer and the importance of regular check-ups for early detection, treatments and cures.
The session comes within the framework of the NAO's keenness to promote a culture of health consciousness among its employees, emphasize early detection and prevention of diseases and support the national effort in raising breast cancer awareness. 40 female employees from various department attended the awareness session.
