The National Audit Office organized an awareness session for its employees about breast cancer and the importance of periodic examinations, in coordination with the Royal Hospital for Women and Children.
Dr. Ghufran Ahmed Jassem, a family medicine consultant, gave a detailed explanation of this type of cancer and the importance of periodic examinations for early detection, and how this protects women from aggravating the problem and thus the possibility of treatment and recovery.
The session, which came in conjunction with the global breast cancer awareness campaign, was held via video conference.
