H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office on Wednesday morning H.E. Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, and discussed enhancing cooperation and partnership.
H.E. the Auditor General stressed that the NAO’s positive approach ensured a more successful implementation of its audit report recommendations by the entities subject to its audit, thus raising performance levels, the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, as well as preserving public funds and ensuring their proper management.
He pointed to the cooperation of the Ministry of Health and its affiliated bodies with the NAO team and continued that he was looking forward to enhanced coordination to strengthen the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism and contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
For her part, H.E. the Minister of Health, Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed thanked H.E Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa for the support, stressing her ministry's readiness for further cooperation and coordination with the National Audit Office to serve the public and the national.
