His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office this morning, His Excellency Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, President of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).
The Auditor General congratulated the EWA President on the royal trust bestowed upon him by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and wished him every success in his role.
They discussed matters of mutual interest and reviewed ways of cooperation according to best practices in the field of auditing and follow-up. Both parties agreed to enhance communication and partnership between them.
The meeting took place within the framework of expanding cooperation between the NAO and the entities covered by its audit mandate and achieving the NAO’s goal to serve the public interest.
