H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office this morning H.E. Mr. Murad Ali Murad, Chairman of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), and Dr. Abdulrahman Saif, Group Chief Executive of BBK.
His Excellency discussed ways to enhance cooperation in topics of common interest and stressed the importance of following international standards and up-to-date best practices in protecting funds owned by countries, institutions or individuals.
During the meeting, the latest global developments regarding data security, data protection, and the increased reliance on technology in financial transactions were reviewed.
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received a commemorative gift on BBK's 50th anniversary, in recognition of his valuable support for the Bank's journey throughout the years.
