Manama, August 22 (BNA) On the twentieth anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women, His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office, extended his sincere congratulations and blessings to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and president of the Supreme Council for Women.
He stressed that the council constituted a landmark achievement in empowering Bahraini women and expressed his great appreciation for the patronage of His Majesty the King which has enabled Bahraini women to assume prestigious posts.
His Excellency said, "We are proud, Your Royal Highness, of the distinguished and significant role you play in supporting Bahraini women, which has contributed to women’s advancement and which over the years has led to the development of highly competent Bahraini women who are now models of Bahrain society."
