Celebrating Bahraini Youth Day.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), stated that the NAO supports Bahraini youth through its programs and plans to build their capabilities, to empower them and involve them in the process of development and growth.
He stressed that the NAO aimed to examine and implement systems, plans and best practices in the field of empowering and building youth capacities in its work, training and communication.
He explained that Bahraini Youth Day, which falls on the 25th of March each year, was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and devotion of Bahraini youth to upgrade their skills and become valuable contributors to the country’s prosperity.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed commended the support enjoyed by Bahrain’s young people from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote Bahraini youth by enhancing their role and empowering them at various levels in all sectors and forums.
He also praised the efforts made by His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in empowering Bahraini youth through His Highness’ various sponsorships and initiatives that contributed to enhancing their skills and enthusiasm.
The NAO celebrated the Bahraini Youth Day by holding a dialogue session for a group of young employees to identify and celebrate their achievements and experiences.
It is noteworthy that the percentage of young employees in the Bureau is about 57%. 30% are employed in supervisory and leadership positions, and 42% are auditors with professional qualification.
