On his appointment as Chairman of the Board of the General Sports Authority.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), congratulated His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee on the occasion of a royal decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, appointing HH Sheikh Khalid as Chairman of the General Sports Authority.
HE Sheikh Ahmed said that the appointment of HH Sheikh Khalid was a sign of the royal trust and confidence placed in him by HM the King and an appreciation of HH Sheikh Khalid’s distinguished efforts to serve the Kingdom Bahrain. He wished HH Sheikh Khalid every success in his efforts to strengthen the sports movement and developing the sports sector in Bahrain in line with HM the King’s vision.
