H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), extended his best wishes and congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on Bahraini Women's Day, which falls on the first of December every year.
His Excellency praised the prominent role of Her Highness in supporting Bahraini women, which contributed to their presence and overall excellence in all sectors and their active and effective participation in the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed praised the national achievements of Bahraini women which was a result of the vision and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the initiatives by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahraini women and become a key partner in the comprehensive development and promising future of the nation.
He stressed the NAO's keenness to ensure women’s equal rights and access to all career opportunities in auditing, which was part of the NAO’s strategy to promote the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance, implement the national plan to incorporate women's needs, and provide an ideal work environment in which women can flourish as equal productive partners.
