His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, on HH Shaikh Nasser winning the 160km race at the World Endurance Championship, which was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
HE said that this remarkable achievement reflects the outstanding levels of Bahraini sports thanks to the excellent patronage from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed stressed that winning the championship added to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s record of achievements in various sports and consolidates the high level that Bahraini sports had reached thanks to HH’s tireless and continuous efforts to advance and upgrade the sports and youth sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
