The NAO joined a symposium on “Supreme Audit Institution Leaders and Key Stakeholders”, held by the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) and International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions Development Initiative (IDI).
Participants exchanged experiences, challenges and lessons learned from SAIs around the world related to audit missions regarding emergency funds dedicated to tackling the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
They also learned about the stakeholder perspective on control of transparency, accountability and inclusiveness in light of this crisis.
From the NAO, Mahmood Hashim, Administrative Audit Director and Salah Al-Yafeai, Performance Audit Manager took part in the symposium.
