The National Audit Office (NAO) participated in the "8th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption 2019" which was held in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 15 December 2019.
The NAO was represented at the aforementioned conference by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Khalifa. This session is considered the first global initiative to foster collaboration between Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI’s) and the Anti-Corruption Authorities (ACA’s) in fighting corruption in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to Combat Corruption UNODC.
