The NAO held a virtual training course on “contract auditing” for 18 employees.
The topics of the course, presented by Mr. Abdulrahman Mohamed Husain, Audit Supervisor in the Regularity Audit Directorate, covered the importance of auditing contracts, its impact on the understanding and planning stage of an audit assignment and how to choose appropriate contract samples.
Participants discussed how to best utilize contract audit programs and other technology applications during the audit steps, and how to reach sound conclusions.
