Manama – National Audit Office:
The National Audit Office (NAO) celebrated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the Throne with all its employees.
His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the NAO, extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes on behalf of all the employees at the NAO to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
H.E. thanked the employees for their performance, efforts and dedication to work, especially for preparing the annual report 2023/2024, which received praise from various parties for its high quality and comprehensive information. He encouraged them to continue with their achievements, take part in further progress, enrich their experiences and adopt a positive approach.
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed stressed the need to profit from technology, modern technical programs and artificial intelligence to improve and accelerate work. He highlighted the importance to train employees of the entities subject to its audit to raise their capabilities and be more effective, efficient and productive thus improving their services for the benefit of the nation.
He pointed out that the NAO continually strived to improve performance and reviewed new ideas and programs to keep pace with global developments, especially those related to auditing and associated international standards.
