His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed: Strengthening cooperation and partnership with the entities subject to the audit of the National Audit Office.
His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), affirmed that the NAO will continue to strengthen and raise the level of partnership and cooperation with the entities subject to its audit in accordance with approved global auditing standards.
During his meeting with His Excellency, the Minister of Housing, Mr. Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, in his office today, Wednesday, he stressed the importance of cooperation with the entities covered by the NAO’s audit mandate, to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister.
He commented on the professionalism of the Ministry of Housing, its cooperation with the NAO’s auditors and facilitating the NAO’s tasks. He continued that he was looking forward to working together to implement the NAO’s observations according to the latest professional practices.
The meeting discussed areas of work between the NAO and the Ministry of Housing and how to further develop them in the interest of the country and its citizens.
His Excellency the Minister of Housing praised the level of professionalism and skills of the NAO’s employees and expressed his ministry's readiness for more cooperation and coordination to reach the desired goals.
