H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received in his office on Tuesday morning H.E. the Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, where they discussed raising the level of cooperation, partnership and coordination.
H.E. the Auditor General stressed that the NAO would continue to coordinate and cooperate with all ministries, government agencies and institutions covered by its audit mandate to ensure the implementation of its recommendations in accordance with international auditing standards, which would raise and improve the performance levels and the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens.
He pointed to the already existing cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the National Audit Office teams which facilitated the implementation of their tasks, and emphasized that he was looking forward to further coordination to consolidate the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed up and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
For his part, H.E. the Minister of Education thanked H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa for the warm reception, stressing his ministry's readiness for further cooperation and coordination with the National Audit Office to serve the national interest.
