Manama – The National Audit Office:-
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s election as non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2026-2027 term.
H.E. said the achievement was a clear recognition of Bahrain’s leading position in the international community and reflected great confidence in its diplomatic approach for peace, stability and development in the world under the insightful leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa added: "This membership of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the UN Security Council is a bright historical milestone in the history of Bahraini diplomacy, which contributes to achieving national ambitions and aspirations. It is evidence of the global appreciation of the prestigious role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the international arena and confirms the sincere national efforts of its people in serving and developing the country."
