Manama – National Audit Office:

H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), extended his best wishes and congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force on Bahrain Police Day, which falls each year on December 14th.

H.E. said: "We are proud of the important role the security personnel and the Ministry of Interior play in maintaining order and stability and protecting the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This forms a key pillar for continuing the development of our country in line with the vision and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.”

H.E. pointed to the many achievements of the Bahrain Police servicemen and their professionalism in their security work.

He indicated that the celebration of Bahrain Police Day was an opportunity to express the nation’s appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by the employees of the Ministry of Interior for the safety and development of the country.

Furthermore, H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed his sincere congratulations and appreciation to H.E. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior, and to all Ministry of the Interior employees on Bahrain Police Day for their loyalty and dedication in serving the country, protecting the public and safeguarding rights and property.

He wished all employees of the Ministry of Interior continued success in keeping the Kingdom of Bahrain safe and secure.
