H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received H.E. Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture in his office this morning, where they discussed enhancing partnership, cooperation and communication in audit work and follow-up.
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed stressed that the NAO would continue to cooperate with all ministries and government agencies covered by its audit mandate to ensure that its recommendations based on international standards to raise performance levels and improve the quality and efficiency of service were implemented.
H.E. the Auditor General appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture with the NAO teams which helped them carry out their tasks. He looked forward to consolidating the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up and support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
For his part, H.E. Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, praised the level of professionalism of the NAO’s staff, and stressed that his ministry was ready to intensify its cooperation to reach the desired goals.
