HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor-General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received Amira Ahmed Madan and Mona Hassan Buhussain, audit supervisors at the NAO, who had been awarded first place in the GCC competition in the field of auditing and accounting for their joint research titled "The Role of Supreme Audit Institutions in Activating Internal Audit Units in entities that are subject to audit".
HE congratulated the award winners in the presence of HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Deputy Auditor-General (DAG) for Administrative Audit, and HE Mr. Faiq Ali Dhaif, DAG for Financial Audit, noting that their award reflects the NAO’s continuous efforts to support its employees in achieving excellence in their audit profession and shows the NAO’s commitment to advance its audit work in line with best practice. HE wished both employees continued success in their future careers.
