His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO) discussed enhancing partnership and cooperation in auditing and follow-up with His Excellency Engineer Ebrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Yousif Talib AbdulGhani, Chairman of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP).
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed stressed that the NAO would continue to coordinate with all ministries and government agencies covered by its audit to ensure its recommendations are implemented in accordance with international standards in order to improve the level of performance, and the quality and efficiency of the services provided.
During the meeting at the NAO this morning, which was attended by a number of NAO officials, H.E. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Works and the CRPEP with the NAO staff and their assistance with the implementation of the NAO’s tasks. He continued that he was looking forward to broadening coordination in order to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
For their part, H.E. the Minister of Works and H.E. the Chairman of CRPEP referred to the level of professionalism and skills of the NAO employees noting more cooperation to reach the desired objectives.
